FREE THINGS TO DO IN LAS VEGAS

Traveling to Las Vegas??-

Here are some of our favorite FREE things to see or do in Las Vegas.


1. Bellagio Fountain Show-- Monday - Friday, 3 p.m. - midnight. Saturday and Sunday, noon - midnight. The fountains run every half hour until 7 p.m. and every 15 minutes after that until midnight.

2. Treasure Islands - new water show "Sirens of TI" -- shows at: 6:00, 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. nightly.

3. Mirage Erupting Volcano--Beginning at 7 p.m., the volcano erupts every 15 minutes until midnight.

4. Rio Suites - Masquerade Party --3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p. m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. daily. If you would like to be part of the show you can arrive 1/2 hour before the show and you may pay to ride the float -$9.95 a person (only 21 spots available).

5. Caesar's Forum Shops - Atlantis Statue Shows --Fall of Atlantis and Festival Fountain: Every hour on the hour Sunday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - midnight .

6. Flamingo Casino Wildlife Habitat - Open daily, 24 hours. See Penquins, Flamingos, Cranes, Turtles, Ducks, Parrots, and Koi fish.

7. MGM Grand Lion Habitat - Open daily, 11 a.m - 10 p.m.

8. Circus Circus - Permanent Circus Open daily, 11 a.m. - midnight. Shows are every half hour.

9. Tropicana - Exotic Bird Show -- 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. daily (except Thursdays).

10. CBS Television City at MGM Grand - 10 a.m. until screenings wrap for the day, usually around 10 p.m. -- call for specific hours if you plan to come in the evening. Screenings run about every half hour and can last anywhere from 40 minutes to two hours.

11. Conservatory @ Bellagio - Open daily, 24 hours.

12. Freemont Street Experience - 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10 p.m., 11 p. m. and midnight nightly. Neon Museum open 24 hours.

13. Las Vegas Preview Studio at Venetian --Open daily, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

14. Neon Museum -- Outdoor walking tour open 24 hours a day. The Neon Boneyard is only available for tour by special arrangement.

15. Nevada Test Site --Monday - Friday, noon - 4 p.m.

16. Sunset Stampede @ Sam's Town --2, 6, 8 and 10 p.m. daily.
